Happy almost Humpday!! I hope everyone had a very happy and safe Halloween! What did y’all dress up as?! I’m so curious, let me know! Probably like the rest of the world, I’m still flipping my shit over Kylie Jenner’s “Dirty” Christina tribute. Do you think anyone else topped her costume?
For today’s look, I’m dressing up t-shirts. This is my go-to outfit when I’m headed out for the night. There are a million things you can do with a t-shirt, and I love dressing them up. I think it’s super sexy and unique. Tons of stores are selling vintage re-done tees these days so there’s plenty to choose from.
For this look, I pulled out Zayn Malik’s tour march t-shirt. Yes, Zayn, as in the former member of One Direction (sigh)… March 25, 2015 was such a sad day. Yeah, my psycho ass is obsessed with One Direction- ok, really just Harry Styles and his dreamy voice.. who am I kidding?! I love all of them, I just love Harry the most. The day Zayn left 1D, I might have cried and possibly wore black for an entire week. If you think that was dramatic, don’t EVEN get me started on this hiatus…. I can’t deal

Anyway.. back to the outfit, yes. So I paired this tee with a lace up velvet skirt, pumps, & scarf tied as a choker. There are obviously many other ways you can rock a tee when trying to dress it up- the other night I took an old band tee, cut it up (thank you YouTube) and threw on a pair of black jeans and booties. It’s a no fail, cute, quick way to run out the door looking super stylish.
My other favorite way to dress up a tee, besides with a skirt and jeans, is just rocking it solo. I promise it’s not as risqué as it sounds! I suggest an oversized, longer tee than you’d normally grab and pair it with OTK boots or pumps. You can even throw a belt over it to give it a bit more structure, and you’re good to go! If you’re hesitant to use a normal tee for this, stores are starting to carry t-shirt dresses, so just go for one of those!
Have a fab night!
